You’re always told that if you have difficulty trying to tell apart a conservatory and orangery, just look to see how much glass the extension has – a conservatory will always have more of it. However, glass roof orangeries have a high volume of glass themselves, as this installation demonstrates. Its glass roof covers a considerable distance and that’s hugely beneficial for those who get to use it as they’re always treated to a beautifully bright atmosphere. You also have more glass in the patio doors and windows, making it a great spot to play games. The configuration of the design provides an immense amount of floor space.
The kids could be so easily tempted to spend the majority of their time in the orangery, but keen to get them outside regularly too, patio doors were placed into the design. They have lovely ornate side panels and can be slid open with the utmost ease for when a game of swingball is in order either with just the kids involved or grown-ups as well. Many a time, the owners just find themselves admiring their orangery, not quite believing how stunning it is. The detail in the roof is remarkable and the detail in the windows isn’t too shabby either. We wanted to create an orangery for the ages, as we do for all our customers, and this design most definitely fits the bill.
